Can I enter your shows if I don't live in Harney County?
YES! We welcome everyone and have had competitors come from Idaho, California and all over Oregon.
Are you NCHA sanctioned?
No. We have our own set of rules that we encourage you to check out. However, our judges use NCHA (NRCHA for boxing) cards for our shows and we do our best to adhere to their standards.
Do I have to be a member to compete?
No, you don't! You will be required to pay a $15 office fee at each show if you are not a member. Non-members are not eligible for Year End Awards.
I have never cut before, is there a class for me?
Yes! We encourage beginners and those who are new to the sport. Our club is a great place to get your feet wet in cutting and we have several experienced cutters who are happy to help you. Affordable class fees are another perk for those new to cutting.
Do I have to bring herd help?
You are welcome to bring your own herd help, but you will also find willing herd help at our shows. We all work together!
Can I pay my fees electronically?
No! Since some of our shows are out of cell service, please be prepared to pay with a check or cash.
